Existing legislation states that all staff should receive some level of training in the types of fire extinguishers and how they should be used. We can also provide certification as proof of training. Training should be on-going and we recommend refresher courses at least every 2-3 years.
We are able to offer staff training either class-room based or a full hands-on session where staff get to discharge extinguishers themselves onto real fires.
As part of your fire risk assessment, all staff should be trained in the different types of fire extinguishers and how to use them. We are also able to provide staff training in all aspects of health and safety through an affiliated company specialising in this area.
